Semester Programs

Choosing a Study Abroad Program is not selecting a travel destination, but examining goals and comparing them to what each program offers in terms of language fluency, geographic location, and course work. These programs are all approved for the IB Minor Global Immersion track.

Semester Study Abroad Programs

These programs have been selected from the full list of Penn State Education Abroad programs. They work well with the Smeal curriculum and allow business students to satisfy a range of general education and elective credits. Students should explore programs to find courses and locations of interest. Plan to meet with our office to review how your chosen program may meet your personal, professional and academic goals.

All semester programs on our website are approved to count towards the IB Minor Global Immersion credits unless otherwise noted.

Application deadlines:

Fall 2026: March 2, 2026

Spring 2027: Final Deadline varies by program. May 15, August 1, or September 10
