Beta Alpha Psi

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is a national honor organization for financial information students and professionals. The primary objective for the organization is to encourage and give recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field. This includes promoting the study and practice of accounting, finance, and information systems; providing opportunities for self-development, service, and association among members and practicing professionals, and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibility.

The purpose of the Business and Society House (BASH) is to provide a launching pad for undergraduate students to explore Penn State’s many opportunities and the professional world with a supportive community at their backs.

We are a student-run organization fostering a community of aspiring and experienced student, faculty, and alumni interested in startups and venture capital. Our mission is to facilitate student engagement with startups while amplifying founders’ access to convenient funding and competent human capital. Throughout the semester, we host bi-weekly general body meetings and a wide variety of events such as fireside chats with industry experts, investment competitions, and intercollegiate conferences. In addition, our members have the opportunity to participate in international investment competitions, conduct team-based projects on technology trends, and work directly with local startups.

Leveraged Lion Capital (LLC)

The purpose of Leveraged Lion Capital is to provide hands on education in the fixed income markets, preparing members for interviews, internships, and full time placements. This will be achieved through educational materials, presentations, and the maintenance of a simulated portfolio of loans.

Sports Business Club

The purpose of the Penn State Sports Business Club is to foster the growth of students' knowledge in the business of sport through exposure to industry professionals while providing opportunities for internships and future careers in sports and similar fields. The club is meant for both aspiring sports professionals and sports fans with some interest in the business side of sports. We hope to place as many of our members in jobs in the sports industry. It is a great club to improve your network both socially and professionally.

TAMID Group is a nonprofit organization that develops the professional skills of undergraduate students through hands-on interaction with the Israeli economy. TAMID integrates the next generation of entrepreneurs and business professionals with Israel through a comprehensive education curriculum, pro-bono consulting for Israeli startups, capital market investment research, and a summer internship program in Israel. TAMID has no political or religious affiliations. TAMID Consulting provides pro-bono consulting for the most exciting and innovative companies coming out of Israel. TAMID members engage in projects during the academic year that build skills in market research, competitive analysis, US market entry strategy, beta testing/product development and design, and more. The TAMID Fund leverages a partnership with Seeking Alpha to develop strong equity research skills while the chapters compete in a national simulated fund competition.
