Community Engagement and Development Grant

Smeal students interested in a service learning experience abroad or an international internship now have funding available through a grant from a dedicated and supportive alumnus, Bill Lane.

Smeal students interested in an international service learning, study abroad or internship now have funding available through a grant from a dedicated and supportive alumnus, Bill Lane.  The Community Engagement  and Development Grant will assist students with funding for unpaid international experiences that focus on helping people primarily in third-world locations.

 

Embedded Spring Programs

The applications are open for Smeal students engaging in an embedded spring break program. Awards average $500.

Summer Programs - Applications for programs in the summer (May-August) 2020 may be submitted until February 1, 2020 at 11:59 pm.  Apply Now!

Awarded funds for PSU summer programs will be made before tuition for summer is due. Awards for non-PSU programs will be made upon proof of successful completion of the program, and apply toward tuition billed for fall 2020.

Smeal students may propose another program in their application that is consistent with the focus of the grant.
