Community Engagement and Development Grant

Smeal students interested in an international service learning, study abroad or internship now have funding available through a grant from a dedicated and supportive alumnus, Bill Lane.  The Community Engagement  and Development Grant will assist students with funding for unpaid international experiences that focus on helping people primarily in third-world locations. The application opens in the spring for students engaging in a summer program.

Applications for summer 2018 may be submitted until February 16, 2018 at 5:00 pm in 202 Business Building and consist of:

Awarded funds will be made upon proof of successful completion of the program, and apply toward tuition billed for fall 2018 or later.

Smeal students may propose another program in their application that is consistent with the focus of the grant.
