Career Fair Preparation Workshop for International Students
International Students: Get tips and prepare for the Fall Career Days!
September 5, Wednesday, 6.30 pm
@ Bank of America Career Services Building
This workshop will briefly address and mostly integrate the major career fair preparation steps that other on-campus workshops concentrate on (CHECK THEM ALL HERE: http://careerfairs.psu.edu/fall/student/workshops.shtml) such as Writing Effective Resumes, Interview Skills, Finding your top 5, After the Handshake, and Dress to Impress.
The workshop will be presented by Elif Balin, Career Counselor, and is open to all INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS!
You will learn about:
- unique issues and strategies that are important for you to be aware of and address in your resumes
- research on, and selection of, organizations/companies
- self-introductions
- interviews
- and more!
We will work on resume samples and practice our preparation skills with demonstration and role-plays.
