About International Night:

International Night serves to help undergraduates from all majors and backgrounds to learn more about international opportunities. In light of social and political differences, our distinguished guests will elaborate on particular hardships they have faced while working internationally.

The speakers will highlight international business through their many years of personal experience. Through both formal speaking and casual conversation after the event, International Night serves to highlight their commitment to international business and to the greater Penn State community.

About the International Business Association (IBA):

Our mission is to provide guidance, understanding, and awareness of the international business environment, and to provide opportunities and information about careers outside of the United States.

Who Is Attending?

International Night has been designed for undergraduate in all majors and colleges at Penn State. These are students who hope to work internationally in the future and wish to learn more about the experiences of our distinguished guests.

How Is The Evening Scheduled?

Our event will consist of 4 segments. We begin the night with an opening Welcome from the IBA Executive Board. We will then transition to our Keynote Speech from Glenn Forman, Partner at McKinsey & Company. Next, we will have a Panel, in which our distinguished guests will give a 5-10 minute opening statement, telling us about their backgrounds and offering their personal wisdom for over coming obstacles in an international setting. Following introductions, a moderator will ask predetermined student-generated questions. Moving from Room 110 to the Business Building Atrium, the Networking Reception will provide undergraduates with the unique experience of personally interacting with each of our distinguished guests.
