If you want to get to know more than one city during your study abroad semester or summer, these programs offer that opportunity. Some have a home city with planned study tours elsewhere. Other programs have options for more than one resident city. Best of all, you will be learning about each city as you explore its culture, art, society and cuisine.

Berlin IES: Berlin, Metropolitan Studies - Your learning is enhanced by an extended program-related trip to destinations like Warsaw, Poland, or Vienna, Austria, which provides a comparative context for your studies. On this trip, you tour neighborhoods, visit museums, attend lectures, and meet with local university professors to discuss the topics you’re learning about. Fa/Sp
Freiburg IES: Freiburg, European Union Program - As a major component of the European Union Program, you participate in extensive course-related trips to prominent EU institutions and important cities across Europe. During these trips, you meet and talk with official representatives of member states, leaders of multinational corporations and NGOs, EU officials, and advisors on EU issues. Berlin, London, Paris, Rome, Madrid CIEE Global Institutes: Berlin, London, Paris, Madrid & Rome - The CIEE Global Institutes offer a unique opportunity for students to build their ideal program from five locations in order to maximize immersion and intensive study. The Global Institutes offers an Open Campus model which allows students to study in one or more of the following locations; Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris, and Rome. Students choose two or three academic blocks, which are 6 weeks in length, from any combination of the five locations offered.
